Seattle Slope & Wall is an independent editorial research project for a specific moment: you need specialized site work, but ordinary directories make every company look the same.
Who
The Seattle Slope & Wall research desk maintains the catalog. Contractors do not write their public-record profiles, and no company paid to enter the launch set.
Why
Retaining walls and slope stabilization combine structure, drainage, soil, access and permitting. A broad home-services list rarely shows whether a company has appeared on a comparable local permit. This project makes that starting evidence easier to inspect.
How
We connect Washington registration, bond, insurance and L&I Verify checks with selected Seattle permit records. Each claim keeps a direct source trail and last-checked date. Software helps organize the records; material identity and status questions receive manual review.
What the project is not
We are not the licensing authority, an engineering firm, a contractor, or a guarantee. A permit match does not establish customer satisfaction, workmanship, price or current availability.
How it grows
The first release focuses on Seattle permits because the city provides a consistent official source. Eastside, Snohomish and South King jurisdictions have separate systems; they will be added only with clear source labeling instead of blending unlike records.
