Seattle Slope & Wall does not use advertising trackers or visitor accounts. Optional project-intake and profile-verification forms collect only the information a sender chooses to provide.

What the forms collect
A project-intake submission may include work type, neighborhood or city, observed symptom, timing, name, email or phone, free-text notes, page context, submission time, and a random record identifier. A profile claim may also include company name, Washington contractor license, and the sender’s role. Only one contact method is required for project intake. Do not submit medical, financial, government-ID, access-code, or other sensitive information.
Why we use submissions
Project details are used to understand and respond to the request; they are not automatically routed to the contractor whose profile or permit record a visitor was reading. Claim information is used to verify the sender’s relationship to the company and review sourced corrections. If we later introduce contractor matching, we will state the recipients and obtain the appropriate consent before sharing contact information.
Storage, spam screening, and deletion
Submissions are screened by Cloudflare Turnstile, stored in a restricted Cloudflare KV namespace, and may be sent to the research desk through an email delivery provider. KV records expire after 180 days. An editorial correction audit may retain the source and result longer, but does not need to retain unrelated project-intake details. To request access or deletion, email [email protected] from the contact method used in the submission.
What this site does not collect
We do not provide visitor accounts, comments, checkout, or saved lists. We do not sell personal information or share it for behavioral advertising.
Basic hosting records
Like nearly every website, the hosting and network providers that deliver the site may process basic technical requests, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time, and security logs. These records are used to deliver and protect the service and are subject to the providers’ own retention and security practices.
If you email a correction, your email address, message, attachments, and delivery metadata are processed by the email providers involved. We use that information to review the correction, respond when appropriate, and maintain an editorial audit trail. Do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the correction.
Public-record profiles
Contractor profiles organize business and permit information from public or company-published sources. We intentionally omit homeowner street addresses from selected project cards. A business may request correction of inaccurate information through the corrections page.

Links to government records and contractor websites take you to services we do not control. Those sites may collect information under their own policies.
Changes
This notice will be updated before analytics, advertising technology, accounts, new submission uses, or other material collection practices are introduced. The effective date above will change when the notice materially changes.
